On January 6th 2023, Denps ApS acquired a manufacturing facility located approximately 1 hour away from Copenhagen, in the city of Hundsted. In addition to the facility the acquisition also included a fully integrated manufacturing line for blending, filling and packaging of powders into aluminum cans. The plant has a large footprint of 12.000m2 of which 8.500m2 has been utilized for the canning operations. The factory will be operated through a new company called Pio Pharm Denmark ApS and will primarily focus on producing dietary supplements.
Some modifications are currently on-going in the canning area while new production and packaging equipment has been order to further strengthen Pio Pharm’s offering and capabilities. The can line is expected to be operational in Q3 2023 while the new equipment will be ready during Q1 2024.
