Our High&GoGo Mælkesyrebakterier med D-dråber is a 2-in-1 dietary drop supplement for infants and children aged 2 weeks to 4 years. The product is produced in Denmark and contains 8 ml.

The Danish Health Authority recommends that children from the ages 0-4 years receive a daily supplement of vitamin D corresponding to 10 µg (micrograms). Vitamin D supports the body in absorbing calcium and is important for a healthy bone and muscle development, as well as the normal function of the immune system.

There are many natural sources of vitamin D, but it can be difficult to meet the needed amount through food. Foods like fatty fish, meat, eggs, milk, and dairy products all contribute with vitamin D. A trip out into the sunshine is also an effective source of vitamin D, but remember, young children, do not benefit from direct sunlight. Always remember to use sunscreen!

High&GoGo Mælkesyrebakterier med D-dråber lives up to the Danish Health Authority’s recommendations. The product is suitable for infants from 2 weeks and up to the age of 4, despite the fact that the product says: “from 2 weeks to 2 years”. This is because the product was produced prior to the Danish Health Authority’s new recommendation on vitamin D, which was annonced in December 2020. The daily dose is 6 drops, which is equivalent to 10 µg of vitamin D and 1 billion CFU of lactic acid bacteria.

The product contains lactic acid bacteria from the BB-12® strain – the world’s most well-documented lactic acid bacterial strain.

Contents: Sunflower oil, Bifidobacterium Animalis subsp. Lactis (BB-12®), Vitamin D3.                 

Recommended daily dose: 6 drops (0.25 g). Make sure to shake the bottle thoroughly before use in order to dissolve the lactic acid bacteria powder in the oil.

Storage: At room temperature and out of reach of small children. Avoid direct sunlight. Should be used within 4 weeks of opening.
